With 62.80 pounds for the three Reel Team events of 2008, Mike and Eric Mohr clained the Team of the Year honors. They were closely followed by Shawn Olson and Trent Glover in second and Durand and Mike Peterson in third. It was a very close race with all the top 10 teams within five pounds of the winners.

Bill Infinger and Corey Goodwin took the win on Lake Minnewaska with a 27.03 pound bag. They were followed by Jeremy Fuller and Lance Freking who came in with a 25.88 pound bag and Billy and Chad Hildebrand who had 24.75 pounds. Big Bass went to Mike and Eric Mohr with a 4.87 pound fish.

It was a typical Minnewaska day with many 20 plus pound bags and everyone had their eight fish limit. The weather was good with moderate temperatures and an easterly wind, which fortunately did not pick up until after noon.

Mike and Eric Mohr grabbed the Team of the Year honors with 62.80 pounds. It took 58 pounds to make the Top 10 this year, a weight that seems to increase every year. read more ...

On a cold, windy day, Clarence Rasmussen and Pat Daniels came in with a 21.73 pound bag of largemouth and smallmouth bass to take the win on Lake Ida. They were closely followed by Billy and Chad Hilldebrand at 21.38 pounds and Matt Klemm and Trevor Trousil  at 21.25 pounds. Chris Jakubiec and Duane Jantzen kicked off the 2008 Reel Team Bass season with a big win on the Alexandria chain of lakes. They had a giant bag of 25.64 pounds and also took big bass honors with a 5.60 pound smallmouth bass. Rounding out the top 3 were Shawn Olson and Trent Glover who finished just a little over a pound back for second place and the team of Ben Hittle and Drake Herd finished third with 20.73 pounds.  read more ...
