Arbor Knot
The arbor knot is an easy way to attach the line to the reel spool.

1.

Pass the line around the arbor.
|
|
|
2.
|
Tie an overhand knot around the standing line. Tie a second overhand knot on the tag end.

|
|
3.
|
Pull tight and snip off the excess. Tighten the first overhand knot around the arbor.
