Trilene Knot

The Trilene Knot is a strong connection for joining line to swivels, snaps, hooks and lures. The knot resists slippage and is easy to tie. Be sure to snug it up tight and leave a little bit of extra line on the tag end to prevent it from pulling loose.

Tying the Trilene Knot

1. Run end of line through the eye of the hook and double back through the eye a second time.
2. Loop the end around the standing part of the the line four or five times. Thread the tag end back through the loop formed in step 1.
3. Tighten the knot with a steady pull. Trim the tag end to about 1/4 inch.
